The firm was originally founded in 1946 by Springfield attorney Marvin O. Sanders.  Mr. Sanders was joined in practice by Jack B. Lively in 1952.  The original name of the firm was Sanders & Lively.  The present firm of THORP, PURDY, JEWETT, URNESS & WILKINSON, P.C. has grown to become one of the larger firms in Lane County.  The firm is presently comprised of experienced attorneys and a skilled support staff including legal secretaries and paralegals.
