Stalking & Restraining Orders
A Stalking Protective Order (SPO) is a court order that protects a person from repeated and unwanted contacts that cause either fear or are coercive. A final SPO is permanent, and if the order is violated, can result in a criminal charge. A Restraining Order is a court order that instructs a person who has hurt and threatened the protected party to leave the protected party, including minor children, alone. A Restraining Order remains in force for a year period and can be renewed if the protected party remains in danger. The attorneys at TPJUW have extensive experience representing both petitioners (the person seeking the SPO or Restraining Order) and respondents (the person ordered to keep away in either the SPO or Restraining Order). We have successfully tried many cases involving SPO or Restraining Orders. We are prepared to work diligently for our clients to provide the best representation possible for SPO and Restraining Orders in Oregon.
